Mi presento: sono Lorenzo Sempio, proprietario e tecnico dello studio.

Ho alle spalle anni di esperienza professionale dal vivo e in studio.

Ho suonato e suono come chitarrista e/o compositore in diverse band underground (Impact Wave, Azhilo Nitro, Otolab, Nichelodeon, Carnenera).

Ho una grande passione per il suono e le tecnologie ma soprattutto per la buona musica.

Mi piacciono le cose fatte bene e l’approccio professionale in un contesto rilassato e amichevole.

L’ InterPlay Recording Studio è nato senza un nome a Milano nel 2007 come un “one-man mobile recording studio”.

Ho registrato molti artisti (jazz, rock, avantgarde, folk) in svariati ambienti acustici da palchi live a garage, da teatri a chiese sconsacrate, da normali studi di registrazione a cantine.

Ho sempre investito tutti i soldi guadagnati nelle migliori attrezzature e microfoni possibili,

e tutto il tempo possibile alla formazione e allo sviluppo professionale (che non finiscono mai!).

Poi ho allestito anche una control room per mixare e dal 2012 ho deciso di offrire una serie completa di servizi sotto il nome di “InterPlay Recording Studio”.

I introduce myself: my name is Lorenzo Sempio, studio owner and engineer.

I have many years of live and studio professional experience.

I played guitar and composed in some italian underground bands (Impact Wave, Azhilo Nitro, Otolab, Nichelodeon, Carnenera).

I have a fascination for sound and technology, but mainly for good music.

I like well-made things and a professional approach in a relaxed and friendly context.

InterPlay Recording Studio was born without a name in Milano (Italia) in 2007 as a “one-man mobile recording studio”.

I recorded many artists (jazz, rock, avant-garde, folk) in various acoustic environments from live venues to garages, from theatres to churches, from regular recording studios to basements

I invested all the money earned in the best microphones and gear I could get,

and all possible time in training and professional developement (that never ends!)

Then I also set up a control room for mixing and since 2012 decided to offer a complete set of services under the “InterPlay Recording Studio” name.
